My youngest brother inadvertently entered a gay bar in DC (Georgetown) when he was in the Air Force. It slowly dawned on him that the guy who'd asked him for a light and bought him a drink might have had more on his mind than talking. So my bro excused himself and not knowing what else to do (he was 19) he crawled out the window in the Men's Room.

Looking back on it he's amazed at his naivete.
