I looked at the MSDS sheets for Bounce and Bounce Free. The only possible harm listed is if a child or an animal eats the sheets, which could cause an intestinal blockage (I'd guess so!). But then years back my Mother discovered I break out in a rash if I wear clothes washed in Tide and that too has a "safe" MSDS sheet. I think that if it harms you, avoid it.
