I've been around long enough to REALLY not care so much what's on the outside. It's hard enough to find someone you understand who understands you, whether they're a friend or something else, that appearance really isn't much of a factor as long as it's within the realm of 'normal' Things that wouldn't be might be a guy wearing a pink miniskirt to go to a restaurant with you, unless he shaves his legs, or somebody rolling around in pig poop before a concert.

I reserve the right to give my friends shit about wearing black socks with sandals because it's fun to do that and my friends know I'm not serious.
