Or to be more exact, superficial thrombophlebitis. I have got it, know what it is and they are also looking for DVTs just in case. Had it for about a fortnight now and it is pretty painful but not debilitating. The anti-biotics haven't done much. There is a distinct lack of info on what to do to ease it and prevent it in future.
