Diane, you can claim to have been saying whatever you like. Luckily, we have what you actually said right in front of us. To wit: you "'spose his daughter told him" that folk music wasn't all about sweaters, beards and pipes, and you think he's "leaping on the bandwagon" to support the "high profile activities of his partner and daughter."

When what you claimed turns out not be true, of course, you knew it all along. It's the rest of us who are fools for not knowing--even though we're the ones who pointed it out.
