We sold out completely and had to turn people away at the door at Hessle Town Hall, capasity 250.Most dancers had never been to a ceilidh before and were local. Average age 30 and lots of teenagers.
The percussion, gurdy, highland pipes, shawms and Euphonium gave it a mad sound as well. Result a long contact list wanting to know when the next one is ! .It got the Water Aid message across and produced some new ceilidh fans!!!!!!!!!! Whooooppppeee
