I read thge John Glatt book a few years ago. I thought the first half of the book was brilliant; the struggles, inspirations and tribulations of a band of brilliant young musicians doing something entirely new. But later part of the book became a rather tedious name- dropping catalogue of all the celebs they met when they became famous.
