Cirio- the tree-like plant known to botanists and extreme SW gardeners as Idria (formerly Fouquieria) columnaris, and to some Americans as 'boojum;' not a cactus but a succulent plant of another group.

Called cirio by Hispanics because of its resemblance to a large wax candle.

Somehow I can't visualize one as 'dancing,' but the song is good.
