Thanks, Q. I figured you would know, and almost sent you a personal message to ask. I should have heard "cholla" in the first place, but relied on a dictionary instead of on my memory from that area.
I wasn't familiar with "cirio."
Based on your advice, I changed the lyrics in my post.
My wife likes the idea of a strong, handsome guy who plays the guitar and sings in Spanish. I thought maybe it would help if I learned to play the guitar, but I think she's hoping for more than just that.....
