The comments on this thread have been moving. It has been heartening to read the diverse wisdom, including the very prudent comments re Flagyll.

Yes, my doc flagyllated me but i think I need a second bout. i imbibed some more garlic today, and strangely, while no one seems to want to be near me, it felt good.

I guess we're all just a bunch of microorganisms anyway, controlled by a sort of giant computer in the head that thinks it's in control. so, in some ways, this experience has been a spiritual one. I never feel alone anymore, because I'm reminded that I have company.

I appreciate the bonhomie and bon mots. soon i hope to report that the little ones have been empowered. I hope to engage in some internal capacity building, to assist them so they are no longer dependant on me and can find their own way in life, reach out into the sun, so to speak.
