I posted this this morning, and haven't seen any response at all. I think I didn't give it an enticing enough title, so instead of a simple "refresh," I'm starting from scratch with "McCain" in the title:

True: The McCain campaign has used the song "Barracuda" without permission, and the Wilson sisters (of the rock band Heart) have issued a cease-and-desist order.

False: The over-the-top fictional protest letter circulating on the internet about this controversy (seen in the Snopes article, in graphic rather than textual form).

It may be phony, not to mention "crude and rude," but it sure is funny!

(This may have gotten by as a "music" thread topic, but my intentions are entirely bullshit-related.)
