I think this is a fascinating link--and I'm about ready to buy the book about country and rock stars and how their songs are used in politics. I'd heard some of this, but it's just the sort of thing I like to know about--being pretty interested in politics, especially now--and of course addicted hopelessly to a huge array of music. The intersection of the two is especially riveting. The varying attitudes of the composers and performers across the political spectrum toward use of their songs sounds like great reading.
