Halllooo again, all...

   Maybe its cos I'm from the North..!! ;-) (I talk like a refugee from the Hovis ads as a matter of course!!) I just think the Americans do their accent so much better than anyone else, as do I mine ...!! I love it a la bluegrass etc..( can you imagine Big Mon singing in Lanky dialect??) but English is English for me..!! I have a bit of a prob with English "Dylan-ism" too..it's almost as if we're ashamed of our accent... I'm proud of mine and would feel totally stupid trying to sing in anything else!! I did actually come away from a four -piece band cos I felt that's where we were heading!! Please note this is only my opinion - I have no wish to set any cats among any pigeons or seriously criticise any performers...   Right - pass the Tobermory!! ;-)
