Yes, the 'phone is deceptive. People who hear me on the phone envisage Jasper Carrot only fatter, older, greyer and with specs. Imagine their delight when they meet me in the flesh and see the young, blond, tall, handsome, muscular hunk....[sorry, this is the nurse interjecting, Roger's not been taking his medicine again.
