Look, Al Queda's got to say they favor someone, right? No matter what their motivation is for saying so, Obama supporters will interpret it to favor Obama and McCain supporters will interpret it to favor McCain...and then they'll both dream up whatever quasi-logical BS they can to support their desired interpretations.
That's how the partisan mind works. Everything in the world becomes proof of what it wants to believe in the first place.
