The last really involving RPG was Dragon Quest (don't ask what number) which took at least 3-4 months to get through. Mainly exploration of a very large planet. Neat stuff, like the sun rising and falling as you played, and your shadow moving appropriately.

Those who liked Myst and/or are Ashcan Alley fans may enjoy "Andie Vanguard's Quest for Rent", an on-line game which I'm hoping to have up in a week or so. It's a combined effort of my son and myself, an attempt to create a point-and-click game which will combine the idea of a comic book and a video game.

I'm hoping that the concept of trying to dig up a month's rent will be more familiar to many people than, say, saving princesses or battling dragons.
