Personally, I could have done without the man poppin' {doing hip hop dance movements} in front of that drummer. Btw, that manner of playing drums has been traced to West Africa.

I suppose that the purpose of the video was to promote the candidacy of Barack Obama and show the creativity of the campaign's volunteers. And, imo, those are two very worthy purposes.

Still {under other circumstances} it would be nice to see an example of the "traditional" way/s people dance to that tune.

Btw, what's the name of that tune and is it a square dance tune?
