Slightly more detailed instructions from myself which may prove more useful!

The tram stop is on the East side of the station which is basically orientated North/South. West side is the main exit/entrance. The tram stop is signposted.

MC Fat is entirely correct when he says the tram you want is a BLUE route - he is not correct when he says it will be signed Middlewood - it will be "Malin Bridge". There is also a PURPLE route tram through the Midland Station it is OK to catch this as well. This will be signed "Cathedral".

If on a Malin Bridge tram that will take you to Bamforth St. as MC Fat says.

Should you get on a PURPLE route tram will go into the town centre, you need to get off there, cross the road and catch any tram - destination Malin Bridge (Blue) or Middlewood (Yellow) - both go via Bamforth St.
