I quite enjoyed this opinion piece in my local newspaper with my morning coffee. It is referencing the first conviction of a Canadian citizen under Canada's anti-terrorism legislation. This particular jihadist was associated with the terrorists who perpetrated the London bombings but was acquitted of that charge due to lack of evidence directly linking him to the plot but was convicted on seven other terrorism associated charges. He will be sentenced later this month.
