My sisters and I all have that same spot on the back of our heads. My sister Deb calls it the "ick spot" because the hair seems coarser there for some reason. Product is the answer. Conditioning your hair and using some sort of gel or straighener or even mousse will help greatly. A little dab will do ya, as they say.
