He did have an amazing long sojourn! It was a treat to know him.

Studs had been in hospice care for a while in Chicago, so we knew this was imminent. But it's always a shock when we first lose the light from such an incandescent flame of life. I will miss him lurking about the Chicago folk scene that was.
