I do know a song by Jane Siberry called "Ingrid and the Footman." It's wonderful! But I'd have to say it'd be a pretty big challenge to come up with an arrangement that would work if you are doing the solo acoustic guy with a guitar thing, as the original is in Jane's inimitable layered, early '80s, sort-of-pop-but-with-unconventional-structure style.
