Has anyone heard of Laura Marling from London? She was featured in last week's Observer. Folk style self-penned songs, and her first album is up for the Mercury Prize, apparently, but the name was new to me. Not quite what Tim is after, maybe, but the ones I know wouldn't be any good to you - they all live in Germany.
