Woody, Cisco and Pete and folks would stay with Studs Terkel in Chicago. (Read Ed Cray's fine biography of Woody for details.) Those were the old days of the Almanac Singers.

Thats grand stuff you are doing. Same with Francy in Toledo, Oregon. In 1967 Carol and I were "on the road" and we eventually settled in Depoe Bay, Ore. because we loved the coast in Lincoln County. THERE we opened our Folk Art Shop---but we were years too soon. No folk scene had evolved there yet. We headed back to Chicago a few years later. It's grand to know you are doing good things where we once trod.
