The tune and form of RRV was used for one of the best-known songs of The Spanish Civil War concerning the bitterly fought battle for Jerama.
(from memory) There's a valley in Spain called Jerama It's a place that we all know so well, It was there that we gave of our manhood, And where most of our brave comrades fell.
