Yes, it will be a spring project and we plan to do a lot of research during the winter before proceeding. And yes, there are posts and top rails in the set we received (I thought I'd said so earlier), and we'll have some leftover woven wire we will probably bury along the perimeter for the digger-dog's security as well as some plans to secure the bottom with good tension, etc. (She doesn't dig to escape but just for fun and to explore the sound of rabbit/mole dens under that ground.) The metal posts will be sistered onto the 4x4s at the two corners where the fence meets the ell of the house, since they are well sunk; this way we will not need to punch into the brick on this rented house to secure the metal posts there. The whole thing will be topped with a hotwire they already have, and we will use the heavy lawn tractor to stretch the chainlink fabric to a nice tension.

I've done horse fencing, so I have a few tricks. :~)
