I was just thinking about getting some heavy winter drapws up, too, Maggie. It's good to see the differences in your bill when you take measures to reduce, eh?

We took about twenty boxes of stuff to the dumpster, today. They were some of my sisters' stuff that wasn't under tarps, stuff I thought we'd give away, but i was never able to get that together due to heat and ants in the drive-way. Any we went through the ones which had disintegrated because they weren't under the tarps, I lifted a few into the truck, and moved some. Also loaded some more in the trash when we came back from dumpling the first load. It feels good and our drive-way looks better, still a few to go, but it was also hard seeing books, records and other personal things which had been ruined by weather. I was able to save two photo albums which I didn't know were out there this summer when we dumped it all out there. I don't like having to make keep or go decisions for someone else, esp. when they are not here. I have their permission to throw it all out, but I cannot do that, so there it sits in the driveway, most now under the tarps.
