To further wet your appetites, the concerts will feature (in addition to the astonishing entertainment) a fine array of tasty ales from the local 'Lead Mill Brewery'!

This is part of a series of (no ordinary) concerts! Some of you might remember ex local folk singer and club organiser from the 70's' & 80's - the original 'Rambling Sailor' (Jolly Jack Tart!) Roger Warren. Well he's back from sea and with a vengeance and is now a 'Jolly Landlord!'. Roger, will be fulfilling a long held ambition in presenting some of the higher profile performers from the world of folk (who you would normally only see on a big festival concert stage), in a cosy, intimate, 'whites of their eyes' type setting in a specially designed and built music room inside his fantastic pub - and the acoustics are terrific! These will be held on one of the middle Wednesdays of each month (excluding August) starting at 8pm and all promise to be exclusive events, not to be missed!

Keith Kendrick & Sylvia Needham along with ace Derbyshire band Cross O'th Hands opened the series last month with a feature presentation dedicated to the concept of Keith's recent CD release; 'Songs From the Derbyshire Coast' (which went down a storm) and K & S will be hosting all the future presentations for 'Sailor' Warren.

The confirmed guest programme for the coming year is as follows:

December 17th             John Conolly

February   11th             John Kirkpatrick

Get yourselves along early to the next one as seats are limited - you'll be glad you did!

Cheers
