Despite the fact Penguin Eggs has the luxury of three different options to see Dick Gaughan around London there's still the dinginess of the venue to overcome. They're all FOLK CLUBS after all.

I understand unlike the RAH and RFH most "dingy folk clubs" don't even supply you with opera glasses!! (Mmmm....I wonder whether that's because they don't need them?)

To make matters worse they actually serve you drinks in GLASSES rather than plastic!

Sheesh....I don't know HOW they survive!
