The proof of the pudding.. is that most posters to this thread are uneasy at these types of remarks/jokes being aimed at Mrs Obama.
As Mrs Obama is a bit of a heroine to Democrats, this proves that we all find the remarks demeaning and insulting to women, but as its just Mrs Palin, we turn a blind eye and have a good snigger.

This reminds me of the attitude of some to sexual harassment....."oh she must have been asking for it"

Is Michelle Obama more of a woman than Sarah Palin?   Is she a better mother? Is it because Sarah smiles more invitingly?
Why is it Ok to cast sexual innuendo at Sarah and not Michelle?

Mrs Palin was chosen to gather together the right wing Republican base, she showed herself to be a good communicator of her point of view, but she was completely misused by the Republican party.
As I've said before, if the left had someone with the conviction and charissma of Mrs Palin, allied to the knowledge of a Kuninich or a Nader, then we might see some real change in the USA...Ake
