Unfortunately Dad doesn't recognise the verse you quoted, Frank. Are there any more verses, or clues as to where the song came from? Dad's a wealth of knowledge on Sligo songs so it surprised me that he didn't know it. He's going through his books, though, so if anything turns up I'll let you know.
