Well, Pete was once on tour, in South Africa, with Derek Brimstone amongst others. One day they were lay on the deck of a luxury boat, being served free drinks and being generaly pampered when Derek shouted over to Pete and anyone else who was listening 'Aren't you glad you practiced!' - Which has become, of course, one of his books - 'I'm glad I practiced'.
