Ok... more fans of the song... GREAT!

So would it be appropriate for a 50ish woman to sing it? I want to sing it though it tends to make me a bit weepy. I couldn't listen to it for months after daughter passed away. In fact, my partner (bless him) still asks me if it is ok to play it. I would just love to be able to perform this in honour my daughter.
