I agree about getting a physician who specializes in or at least knows about music medicine. What I may try is to call or email the local university's music department and see if they can refer me to anyone. (Yale ought to know about such things, I would think).

Regarding the bag of frozen peas, I finally tried some ice on the bad arm and was astounded at how much it relieved the pain! At least briefly...
