If you are allowing "discombobulate" can I add "oojar" (or to give it it's full version "oojar-cum-pivvy", one of those whatsits...thingamebobs..you know..er..where you can't remember the name of something. Another favourite is "sennight" an archaich alternative to "week" (presumably the same vintage as fortnight).
