IMO, he's one of the top 5 best songwriters of folkish music, and I'll bet he's at the top of the list for many.

To my personal taste, he's the best now writing.

Utah, Ian Tyson, Jim Ringer, Stan Rogers, Guy Clark, Billy Joe Shaver, all crowded in just beneath him, too close to call second.

I may not buy the anthology only because I think I have everything on it, on one or more of the CDs I already have.
