There were Army lyrics circa the Vietnam War about reenlisting bonus money that started:

"Re-up, and buy a brand new car....."


But alas I never could remember the whole thing.


In WWII, my dad sung it as:

"Bullshit, will make the grass grow tall...."


but that's the only line I ever heard him sing.
