I found an old Stefan Grossman Book in one of our local second-hand bookstores. It is called "Play Country Blues Guitar" and its copyright is 1978.

It claims to have an accompanying tape and lp and it gives an address where to send for them.

It takes a long time for a letter to reach a wrong address from here :) Does anyone know where I can get the tape. My turntable broke down some years ago and I can't play lps anymore. Hint, hint.

Apropos of nothing. My guitar teacher has another book in this series which on the back has a picture of Mississippi John Hurt at some festival unpacking a six-string guitar. I just got his "last Sessions" album which shows a picture of him sporting a twelve-string. Does anyone know about what guitar(s) he used?
