It's a long trip for a human, let alone a dog that would have to be kept in the hold, I think. I don't think that I would want to subject a dog to that sort of journey, even though it is possible to get a pet passport these days. I think that the animal would need to be sedated for such a trip, but, even so, it would be hard on a poor animal who wouldn't understand what was going on.
