My complaint with Palin has nothing to do with her politics. I'm not even sure what they are, except that she's loved by social conservatives. But her behavior during the campaign was disgraceful - wildly irresponsible remarks about Obama "paling around with terrorists", the same old divisive politics in which some parts of the country are more American than others. It's quite possible that this was the role assigned to her by the McCain campaign, but she carried it out with gusto. People are responsible for their actions, and hers deserved to be criticized.
