I first learned of LP's struggle through listening to Robbie Roberston of The Band. Robbie is a staunch supporter of First Nations rights (so called because, as a Canadian, he includes the indigenous peoples of Canada in his references to 'Native' people).

LP got one of the lousiest BS con-jobs of all time pulled on him by the Feds; his case is one of those that tells us that racism and dominionist theology and politics are still par for the course in D.C.
