Blind Summat! (that's Wendy Arrowsmith, Rebekah Findlay [see Newbie thread], Joolz Cavell & Paul Arrowsmith) are the guests on Terry Ferdinand's Folk Show on Bishop FM tonight.

With a mix of trad, contemporary and self penned songs we seem to be getting a bit of a name for ourselves with bookings coming through nicely for next year (including the World Tour of Kent in May!). Wendy is pretty well known on the Yorks and N.E. scene as a solo artist, Becks won the KFA 2008 Song of the Year contest a couple of weeks ago and Joolz and Paul specialise in making Wendy & Becks look good! All the band members are Mudcatters.

The show is on 9-11pm UK time and can be heard on-line across the globe on the lnk below. Good show with interesting guests most weeks that does a lot to promote local (and not so local) folk music across the Northeast of England and North Yorkshire.

Terry is very good at playing less well known artists..... it is worth making contact with him and sending him a CD or MP3 if you fancy getting your music heard on the radio.
