Garlic.

I'm allergic to penicillin and a LOT of antibiotics, and garlic supplements (back in those days I could get garlic & parsley tabs reasonably cheap -- I took 13 a day and heavied up when I really needed it) have pulled me out of bronchitis and some other nasty infections.

Add more garlic to the chicken soup.

Garlic is good.
