Actually, that is pretty close, Will Fly, but not totally there. Those are your choices, and which one you follow doesn't matter to us. But when the attacks go ridiculously personal, when the comment on the poetry, prose, and opinion, simply amounts to piling on, that is where the problem comes.

Thread closures come when a thread descends into the realm of ignoring the issue and attacking the person. In this case, an over zealous Moderator closed the thread because they were exasperated with the originator, and with the know it all bullies. What should have been done was simply to delete the posts that don't comply with the minimalist policies we have. The petty sniping stuff I have seen earlier in the thread deserved deletion. The stuff in the last 10 or so posts doesn't rise to deletion level, but we are keeping an eye on it.

And yes, you should all use the Preview button before posting. When you are feeling nasty, type your post, then go play handball or something, then come back and read it and see if you really have to post the nastiness. I have been doing that lately when I start to get ornery. Mods are people too, you know. ***chuckle***
