There was a lovely little British mystery on the American program Mystery! many years ago, in which the husband kills one person (his wife, I think) and gets away with it, but is caught up circumstancially in the death of another person and is found guilty. Malice Aforethought. Quite a satisfying little drama!

Justice has been served, or at least a portion has been served up.
