Now, there are some pretty awful 'country' songs....as in "Bobby Broke My Heart at Walgreens, and I Cried All the Way to Sears"

The stupidest, of course, are the ones which TRY to be poignant and serious, and come off as maudlin and syrupy and dumb....and sound like they were written stream-of-conciousness in 15 minutes.
