The problem, John Weldon, is thoguh OJ was not found guilty in the murder trial of his ex-wife and Goldmann, it wasn't, as you say, "clearly"... The prosecution presented a case that would have resulted in a guilty verdict in almost anu court in the country if the defendent wasn't a bif name, didn't have a muti-million daollar defense team and a media circus, to boot...

To many who watched the trial, this was not a "clear" verdict... It was a tainted verdict... A muddied verdict... Anything but clear...

So, in some respect, yeah, he did get time for that muddied verdict... I mean, let's get real here... If he had shot his next door neighbor over an argument he might not have gotten as much time as he's gotten over a sports memorabilia dispute but I think that most people have seen enough of OJ getting away with crap... He lost the civil case but figured out ways around paying the judegement... That's bullsh*t... He has not been a model citizen saince his days in the NFL and he has done asome very bad things... Lettin' him off the hook would have sent a very bad message to other folks who do very bad things...

I'm glad he's behind bars... He's earned his time...
