Subject: Xmas Open Night, Combe Martin, N. Devon
Anyone in the N. Devon/W. Somerset area on Saturday, 13th December? If so, you'd be very welcome at Shammick Acoustic Christmas Special at The Castle Inn, Combe Martin from 8 p.m. onwards.
It's an Open Night as usual on the 2nd Saturday, but we hope everyone will bring seasonal offerings in the way of songs, music, poems and stories (not compulsory – either to do seasonal items or even perform at all!). In addition, there will be a performance of the North Devon Mummers traditional play and, as usual, a visit from Old Father Christmas with sacks full of goodies to be handed out to all present. There'll be seasonal fare too in the way of sausage rolls and mince pies hot from the kitchen! A thoroughly good, warm, friendly and fun evening!
