Like what? Yeah, there's some snow but nowhere near as much as you think there is. We have clear, sunny skies more than 90% of the time; the temperatures aren't as extreme as you seem to think; we have running water and electricity; a University, and a music scene you wouldn't believe if I told you -- everything from blues to alt-rock.

San Diego County's September unemployment rate was 6.4%; right now Pocatello has 4.4% and businesses are -- get this! -- hiring. We haven't had a shoot-out in nearly a week, the cost of living is about 10% UNDER the national average, houses are affordable (you could buy the one right next to mine -- built in 2000 by the ISU College of Technology and currently in foreclosure because the owner is an eejit), you could kayak anything from a creek to the largest reservoir in Idaho OR, should be be stupid brave enough some of the best white-water in the US.

Wait, come to think of it, we've reached out 2008 quota of Californians. Better luck in 2009.
