Thanks also, Piers Plowman, for sharing information about the CD produced in the 1970s in Britain of a school music class singing pop songs. I'm sorry that I don't know about that CD. I can imagine that even then the music teacher had to be careful about which pop songs that were selected for such a project. And nowadays so many of the lyrics are so sexually explicit that a teacher would really have to carefully choose which songs students would record.

Of course, many of the students already know the words to these explicit songs.

Sigh.
